gorgeous

Thanks honey 🙂 12 of these gorgeous babies gave me a few tears (yes I cry easily – you should all know that by now)

I’m not a huge supporter of V-Day, but this was very sweet. I told him not to spend money on what I call a “forced” holiday. It’s a day for women to say buy me flowers and chocolate, etc or else. My thought is… I sure as hell hope he can do something sweet on ANY day of the year – not just on THIS day because it’s expected. Like I told him… bringing me a card, a single flower, whatever on a normal day would mean so much. I’m big on the “little things”. If he does that then I know he thinks about me more than just on the expected day of the year when all guys show they’re thinking of their ladies. But he said I couldn’t bitch about him spending money, and I didn’t, he said he got to do what he wanted. I wasn’t expecting a dozen roses to be honest – so I was surprised. They are super gorgeous and I’m enjoying them 🙂 We had my favorite for supper – Alio e Olio (garlic, olive oil, Kalamata olives and capers over pasta) Mmm Mmm Tasty!

Wow!!! Those are beatimous!!
I treated myself to a movie and popcorn for the opposite of Valentienes Day….Singles Appreciation Day.

This year I was happy as ever just to spend the day with him! Last year I got ditched (by someone different) so the jerk could eat supper with another man!! How messed up is that?

Pretty flowers! Yeah for husbands!
I’m totally with you on the card/single flower on a normal day thing.

I’m glad you had a nice day. And that pasta dish sounds WONDERFUL. I need some please. 🙂

Sounds nice. He did a great job!
