Conversation heard in our car this weekend….

Mom: I’m starving, can we get a snack
Dad: I need a soda, we’ll stop at the gas station

**stops at gas station**

Mom: Bring me a HEALTHY snack!

**returns to car with Pop Tarts!!** ACK!!

Mom: I can’t eat those!! I won’t have any points left for the rest of the day! (Weight Watchers)
Dad: You eat them at home!
Mom: That was BEFORE POINTS! (haha)
Son: Oh Mom. You’re skinny. I don’t know why you’re complaining.
Mom: OH YEAH!! I TRIED **keyword! TRIED!** putting on a pair of jeans the other day that I’ve been wearing for months now and they didn’t fit. 😦 10 pounds is TOO much and I need to lose it. I AM getting fat.

Are you really really really ready for this………

Son: **In a VERY excited voice** Mom! That’s good! That means you’re growing! You’re getting bigger!!

Pure innocence. I freakin love it! I was laughing so hard I was crying. And Dad was sitting over there doing the whole slicing his throat action trying to get him to quit while mouthing No. More. Stop. No. Maybe I’ll quit telling my kids to eat so they’ll get bigger. Maybe I’ll just tell them it makes them taller or smarter or something like that. haha
